At COP26 in 2021, GLOBE undertook the responsibility of serving as the first-ever UNFCCC Focal Point for the Informal Parliamentary Group. Since then, GLOBE has initiated a number of regular resources for the global parliamentary constituency.

These include a highly-valued newsletter – “Parliamentarians@COP” – dedicated to informing and engaging parliamentarians on climate change and the COP process. These newsletters are a unique resource and bring together developments on climate and sustainability from a range of partners and parliamentary networks in one place.

Since 2023 the newsletters have been available in English, French and Spanish. In 2025, GLOBE added a fourth version in Portuguese to facilitate the engagement of parliamentarians from the host country, Brazil.
