GLOBE International is proud to work closely with the COP28 Presidency, the Federal National Council of the UAE (national parliament) and the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) to deliver the first-ever Parliament Day at a UNFCCC COP.

The Parliament Day on Wednesday 6 December 2023 will be marked by a Parliamentary Meeting held in the Green Zone, organised by IPU and the Federal National Council of the UAE, with support from and involvement of GLOBE International. The provisional programme can be found here and parliamentarians may register through their national parliaments.

Other activities are taking place in the Parliamentary Pavilion and other venues across the Blue Zone, with full details in the COP28 Parliamentary Calendar (released on 27 November 2023). There will also be a Parliamentary Reception hosted by the UK on Tuesday 5 December for selected parliamentary invitees, on the eve of the Parliament Day.
