To coincide with GLOBE International's 30th anniversary, we are starting a new fellowship programme for legislators.
This is open to legislators in national, regional and city legislatures. The GLOBE Fellowship seeks to build an inclusive, non-partisan community of legislative champions for sustainable development through improved democratic governance and on-the-ground delivery.
Members of GLOBE International have pioneered legislation on climate change in national parliaments around the world since 1991. The GLOBE Fellowship builds on this legacy through a focussed effort to create a global community of legislators committed to delivering action on climate change, Agenda 2030 and the UN Sustainable Development Goals in this decisive decade.
GLOBE Fellows are individual legislators who share our values and mission, expressed in our statutes, of a sustainable and equitable world for all. We invite you to join us and be a part of the movement for change.
- Connect with a diverse community of global legislators committed to climate action and sustainable development
- Participate in knowledge-enhancing webinars and programmes with our international partners, including the UN
- Access and contribute to the latest thought leadership on good governance
- Join existing GLOBE campaigns & get support from GLOBE for your initiatives
The GLOBE Fellowship will open formally in January 2021. Applications will be by invitation and self-nomination.
Expressions of interest are invited before then from all interested. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and a member of our team will respond with further information.
GLOBE Fellows will be asked to make an annual contribution of a nominal sum and a one-off registration fee to support the programme. Further details will be available in due course.
